The first reason why students
take Spanish lessons in Chicago is that they met either a Colombian, Mexican, Puerto Ricans or an Argentine couple. We have been in business
for 7 years now and one of the main strong reasons why people take Spanish lessons in Chicago is for love. Even though Chicago, is not Miami
or New York, is still a big city where Hispanic immigrants move for work. Therefore is inevitable that either they marry someone that is the
first generation Latino or Hispanic itself that moved here for better opportunities. Yes, ladies, most of our students that learn Spanish for
the couple are men. Apparently, latin women are in high demand and very attractive for Chicagoans.
The second big reason why people take Spanish lessons in Chicago is to travel. People that live in Chicago, they love Chicago, not for the
weather but because it is home, however, people from Chicago love, love to travel. The favorite destinations for our students are Mexico,
Panama, South America (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile), Spain (mainly Barcelona and Madrid). They are often travelers to these destinations so that
is why they want to be able to converse with the locals not just go to the touristic spots.
The third reason why people want to take Spanish lessons in Chicago is for work, especially lawyers, doctors, nurses and customer service.
They want to be able to communicate with the patients or clients and connect emotionally with them so they can serve and do their jobs better.
Many people that work in sales, want to learn Spanish to connect emotionally to be able to close the sale and inspire trust and care.
The fourth reason why our students take Spanish lessons in Chicago is for self-enrichment. Some people they just want to be bilingual and have
a very strong personal goal to become bilingual in Spanish because in the US is a huge language and very useful in some parts of Chicago. Also,
they want to use the other part of their brains and challenge themselves which is very impressive.
The top fifth that our students take Spanish lessons in Chicago is to move away. Yes, some people love Chicago but fell in love more with the
Latino Culture. Places that they want to move in Spain, Panama, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, or Chile. We have two students currently that want
to move to retire, one wants to move to Panama and the other one to Argentina. Then we have a student that wants to move to Mexico for love.
Yes, she is going to move for at least two years to Mexico and get married there. Another example is someone that traveled and fell in love
with Spain, so is going to move next year and wants to become bilingual.
